Jonny Walker Joins Triumph Racing Enduro Team
Big news in the enduro world—Jonny Walker, one of the sport’s top riders, has officially signed with the Triumph Racing Enduro Team! The British star, a Red Bull athlete known for his fierce competitiveness and unmatched skills, is gearing up to take on the 2025 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, plus some exciting hard enduro and EnduroGP events. And if that wasn’t enough, Jonny will also make a special wildcard appearance at this year’s AMA EnduroCross series.
For fans of enduro, this is massive! After finishing runner-up in the SuperEnduro three years in a row, Jonny is more determined than ever to conquer the podium in 2025. Under the guidance of Triumph’s newly appointed team manager, motorsport legend Paul Edmondson, the path to glory looks promising. Edmondson himself is a former world champion, so it’s safe to say Jonny is in excellent hands.
Jonny’s record speaks for itself: he’s a three-time winner of the grueling Red Bull Erzbergrodeo and has multiple SuperEnduro victories under his belt. Now, he’s bringing over 15 years of experience to Triumph Racing, with a clear goal in sight: his first world championship title. His journey begins with his competitive debut at the Indoor Enduro of Champions in Newcastle’s Utilita Arena this October, where he’ll show off Triumph’s TF 250 machine for the first time. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
Jonny Walker shared his excitement, saying, “I’m really excited to join Triumph! To be the first rider to represent Triumph Racing in enduro is special. It’s amazing to be part of the team, and I’m looking forward to working with Triumph going forward. My bike feels great already, which makes my job a lot easier!”
Triumph’s Head of Global Racing Programmes, Ian Kimber, also chimed in, calling Jonny’s signing a “massive step” for their enduro program. “As one of the top riders in the sport, we know that he will demonstrate the capability of our enduro bikes in the best possible way,” Kimber said, confident that Jonny has the tools he needs to fight for titles.
Edmondson, Triumph Racing Enduro Team Manager, summed it up best: “The signing of Jonny is the icing on the cake! We as a team are very excited to work with such a great rider and person with so much potential.”
With Jonny Walker on board, Triumph Racing is charging into the enduro world with serious ambition. The stage is set for an epic season ahead. Stay tuned, because this partnership is revving up to be something special!
