Atr\u00e1s quedaban los largos d\u00edas por Inglaterra y Escocia, el fr\u00edo inclemente del Mar del Norte y las gaitas en Edimburgo. Atr\u00e1s tambi\u00e9n quedaba la inesperada amabilidad de extra\u00f1os, como aquel pescador escoc\u00e9s que ofreci\u00f3 t\u00e9, conversaci\u00f3n y unas libras para una bebida caliente m\u00e1s adelante en el camino.<\/p>\n<p>Pero tambi\u00e9n hubo una lecci\u00f3n dura. En Edimburgo, \u00abFrankie\u00bb, la Royal Enfield Classic 500 que ya se hab\u00eda convertido en mucho m\u00e1s que una simple motocicleta, fue robada. Por unas horas, el viaje entero se detuvo de golpe. Cuando fue recuperada, golpeada pero viva, la ruta continu\u00f3 con un peso muy diferente. El piloto ya no solo devoraba distancias. Llevaba consigo gratitud, precauci\u00f3n y una comprensi\u00f3n m\u00e1s profunda de lo que esta m\u00e1quina significaba para el sue\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool, el Festival ABR y el regreso a la ruta restauraron el ritmo. Pero la verdadera prueba todav\u00eda nos esperaba. Noruega aguardaba. Y m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de Noruega, Cabo Norte (Nordkapp). No un r\u00edo. No un lago. Un oc\u00e9ano que parece haberse colado tierra adentro, esculpiendo heridas profundas a trav\u00e9s de la roca y la monta\u00f1a. La carretera deja atr\u00e1s los ritmos familiares de Europa y entra en un paisaje donde la geograf\u00eda se siente inacabada. Los ferries aparecen con la misma naturalidad que los cruces de calles. Las monta\u00f1as se alzan directamente desde el mar. Los pueblos se aferran a la costa como si los hubieran puesto ah\u00ed temporalmente y luego los hubieran olvidado.<\/p>\n<p>Durante horas, el horizonte muta constantemente: un fiordo se convierte en un valle, un valle se transforma en un paso de monta\u00f1a, y ese paso te lleva a otro cruce en ferry. Nada permanece igual por mucho tiempo. Y en alg\u00fan punto entre las brutales curvas de Trollstigen y la Carretera del Oc\u00e9ano Atl\u00e1ntico, llega la epifan\u00eda.
