As the motocross world waits with bated breath, Triumph Motorcycles stands on the cusp of transforming anticipation into sheer admiration. Recently, this British motorcycle titan unveiled a tantalizing peek into its upcoming Motocross bike, geared up for an official debut later in the year.
In the run-up to this landmark revelation, Triumph has showcased a series of ‘Vision to Reality’ films. These enlightening features grant enthusiasts an exclusive behind-the-scenes look, introducing them to the pioneering minds behind the brand-new aluminium chassis and engine.
These films focus not just on the motorcycle but also on the dedicated individuals behind its creation. They spotlight interviews with the SuperMotocross team’s luminaries, such as Bobby Hewitt, Dave Arnold, Ivan Tedesco, and Stephen ‘Scuba’ Westfall, elucidating the passion and expertise that went into the project. Vincent Bereni from the MX2 team also steps into the limelight, underlining his pivotal role in the developmental stage.
Triumph’s ambassador, Ricky Carmichael, remains an enduring symbol of motocross prowess. Sporting the iconic #4, Carmichael’s storied career spans multiple motocross championships, solidifying his stature as one of the sport’s legends. He lauds the engine’s unique persona and underscores its versatility: “This engine has its own identity… It’s light, compact, and its power delivery resonates with all forms of riders.”
Yet, the galaxy of motocross talent doesn’t stop with Carmichael. The films illuminate other stars who have enriched this venture with their expertise:
- Bobby Hewitt: Renowned for his adept management acumen and a keen knack for recognizing potential.
- Dave Arnold: Brings to the table a profound understanding of motorcycle mechanics and kinetics.
- Ivan Tedesco: A former professional racer whose on-track experiences offer irreplaceable insights.
