Known for its adventurous spirit, the Multistrada is engineered for those who crave high-performance and long-distance touring capabilities. With innovations to make every ride more efficient and enjoyable, the new 2025 Multistrada series has features designed to elevate your journey on any road or terrain. Whether you’re traversing smooth highways or tackling rugged backroads, these bikes are built to perform.
From the refined design to the improved fuel efficiency and advanced rider safety systems, Ducati has crafted a machine that promises both thrill and convenience. As Ducati’s new lineup arrives in dealerships, it’s clear that the 2025 Multistrada V4 models are designed to meet the needs of every type of rider—whether for adventure, sport, or the pure joy of the open road.
Design and Aesthetics
The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 boasts a refreshed look that mirrors the Ducati’s devotion to blending form with function. The front end has been redesigned to project a more aggressive stance, echoing the sharp lines of the Panigale V4. With its double front headlight framed by newly painted elements, the bike takes on a bold presence reminiscent of iconic Ducati models such as the 916 and 1098. The silencer has been updated with a sharper profile, adding to the bike’s aggressive appearance and a distinct exhaust note highlighting its sporting DNA.
Every angle of the Multistrada V4 reflects a harmonious balance between style and performance. Integrating aerodynamic lines and functional design elements ensures the bike delivers strong performance across diverse terrains while maintaining a striking appearance. The Pikes Peak edition, with its 17-inch wheels, forged aluminum rims, and MotoGP-inspired livery, takes the sportier side of the Multistrada to the next level, offering a unique aesthetic appeal designed for enthusiasts who crave high-speed thrills.
Engine and Performance
At the core of the 2025 Multistrada V4 lies the powerful V4 Granturismo engine, a 1,158 cc powerhouse that delivers 170 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 91 ft-lb of torque at 9,000 rpm. This engine is designed for riders who demand top-tier performance, whether touring across vast landscapes or pushing the limits on challenging roads. The counter-rotating crankshaft, derived from Ducati’s MotoGP expertise, reduces gyroscopic forces, allowing for smoother handling and increased stability during acceleration and cornering.
A key engine feature is its extended deactivation technology, which switches off the rear cylinders in specific conditions to reduce fuel consumption by up to 6%. This innovation improves fuel efficiency and provides a smoother, more economical ride without sacrificing power, making each journey more enjoyable. The V4 Granturismo is engineered for long-distance reliability, offering extended maintenance intervals—37,000 miles (59,545 km) for significant servicing and 9,000 miles (14,484 km) or 24 months for oil changes.
Paired with the lightweight aluminum monocoque frame, this engine delivers a dynamic ride with precise handling, even at high speeds or when fully loaded. The Multistrada V4 engine delivers a seamless blend of power and control, giving riders confidence on any road, from city streets to highways.
Advanced Technology and Electronics
The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 is equipped with advanced technologies that enhance safety, performance, and rider convenience. A standout feature is the innovative radar system, which supports Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD). These systems make long-distance touring more relaxing and add an essential layer of safety by detecting vehicles in hard-to-see areas and adjusting the bike’s speed for smooth cruising. New for 2025, the Forward Collision Warning (FCW) feature alerts the rider to potential frontal collisions, offering an extra margin of safety during sudden stops.
Another highlight is the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system, which simulates data input from 70 sensors to analyze ground forces and rider conditions in real time. This technology refines critical safety systems like ABS Cornering, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Ducati Traction Control (DTC), ensuring precision and stability even in challenging riding scenarios. For improved night-time visibility, the Ducati Cornering Lights illuminate turns more effectively, and the Coming Home function keeps the low beams on briefly after the bike is parked, making it easier to navigate dark environments.
The 6.5-inch TFT color dashboard offers an updated interface for more straightforward navigation of electronic features, including the Ducati Connect app, which allows seamless smartphone integration for calls, music, and navigation. The Skyhook DSS EVO suspension also features advanced control, allowing suspension settings to be adjusted mid-ride. At the same time, the Electronic Combined Braking System modulates the front and rear brake balance for optimized stopping power in various load conditions. These features make the Multistrada V4 a technological marvel designed to support riders in every environment.
